It’s about mid December.  Close enough these days to talk about finishing up 2021.  In our world today the year pretty much ended about Thanksgiving….lol.  Holidays and non-working days now start about a week before the actual Holiday.  That is unless you have been working from home and in that case you are still visiting Aunt Betty in Boca and you’ve been there since Thanksgiving.

If you worked hard this year and moved your company forward….Congratulations.  Some companies had their best year in business.  Not because they produced more.  Not because they expanded their markets.  Not because they developed new products.  But because a “special cheque” showed up.  Be honest with yourself.  Was it really your best year in business?

At Detroit Process Machinery we just grinded.   We turned iron into gold.  We recycled trash into treasure.   We also skipped our “special cheque”.  Not our thing.    And as 2021 closes we are fortunate and humbled with what we accomplished.

In 2022 please be careful.  The real economy might finally return but are you ready?
